Yin and Stretch w Lindsay
Yin Illuminated with Lindsay Dennis, RMT is a class that blends postures used to deeply and safely stretch the muscles and deep connective tissues throughout the body with an explanation of what these postures each strive to achieve within its targeted group, what that should feel like, how your body adapts and how these stretches can be used to undo chronic tension patterns. Questions are encouraged in this class and adjustments and homework are often given. This class is suitable for all levels and all conditions.
Gentle Movement w Dana
This is a physically gentle class exploring breathing practices, mindful movement, and relaxation. This class is slow paced with modifications given. All abilities and skill levels are welcome.
Restorative Yoga Nidra w Alicia B
This class is a blend of Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. In this practice you will experience stillness in poses and breath. Your body is supported so that muscles no longer need to contract to hold the body in place. All systems of the body are supported and nourished. hot stones placed on specific Marma points (Ayurveda energy meridians) and areas we commonly hold tension encourage a deeper letting go and relaxation response
It takes the average person about 15 minutes to shift from sympathetic (fight or flight) to parasympathetic (rest, repair & digest) functioning, therefore the poses are held long enough to engage this response
Scientific studies show that both Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga break habitual patterns of holding and tightness, reduce responses caused by stress, reduce blood pressure & blood sugar levels, reduce fatigue, improve sleep, alleviates chronic pain, support adrenal function, stimulate thyroid function, aid in recovery of muscle tension and repair
Poses moves spine in all directions supporting a heathy spine. Restorative active poses awaken dull areas of body, boost circulation and promote healing while passive poses induce deeper relaxation response and recuperation.
Powerful psychological benefits assisting with anxiety, depression and PTSD. Relaxation of the sensory motor cortex of brain clears the energy in neuropathways and is like a massage to the brain. 20-30 min of Yoga Nidra is said to equate to 3 hours of sleep

Mindful Movement Morning Yoga
This class provides a combination of mindful breathing, healthy alignment and the freedom to play within familiar and new poses. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of alignment, creativity and breath. This physical practice will begin with grounding, pranayama and doweling the body to wake every cell up to fully be open and receive the benefits of the practice. It will also be sprinkled with some yoga philosophy, quotes, music and playfulness. Everyone welcome.
Yin and Yang Yoga
A harmonious blend of the two styles of yoga into one holistic practice. Tapping into both your feminine, yin energy and masculine, yang energy. This practice brings together the benefits of a dynamic vinyasa flow practice by activating the muscles and building strength and stamina and a passive, gentle yin practice taping into the connective tissues and fascial system of the body to help with ease and flexibility. A beautiful balance of strength and softness in one practice. Everyone welcome.
