Monday

Vitality:Strength and Stability w Nicole Berns

You are as young as the spine is flexible- Joseph Pilates

A strong and stable core is vital for the health and wellbeing of the spine. The core is the centre of our spirit and of our physical body. Vitality is a class designed to move the spine in all directions to restore vibrancy to both body and spirit. Suitable for all levels and abilities.

 

 

 

 

Yin and Stretch w Lindsay

This class blends traditional Yin poses which stretch and soften the muscles and connective tissue with rehabilitative postures that can be utilized in our daily routines to improve our mobility and function both at work and at play. Questions are encouraged in this class. Orthopedic adjustments and home care are often given. Suitable for all levels and abilities.

Meditation w Tamara Tutt

This class is for you if you are looking to deepen your yoga practice, reduce stress, experience improved mental and emotional health or simply want to learn more about meditation. The meditations taught in this class are suitable for all skill levels, even an absolute beginner. Expect some simple warm up exercises, a series of seated meditations and plenty of breaks to stretch your legs and reflect upon your experience. Meditation is for everyone and benefits everyone. you will leave this class feeling clear and centred. Join us! Meditation isn't as difficult as you think it is.

Focused Therapeutic Yoga w Martina Forster

Gentle Hatha w Dana Mahon


Hatha means Sun and Moon; the perfect approach to movement. Effort and ease.  
Rooted in the awareness of breath, this Hatha class is designed to help correct physical imbalances and gently strengthen and stretch areas that need attention. This class is perfect for beginners and anyone wishing to add mindfulness and new attention to their current practice. Suitable for all levels and abilities.

Mindful Morning Movement w Lena

This class provides a combination of mindful breathing techniques, healthy alignment and the freedom to play within familiar and new poses. From beginners to seasoned practitioners, this class hopes to broaden the range of capabilities of each person through the instruction of mindfulness, creativity and breath. This physical practice will begin with grounding, pranayama and doweling the body to wake every cell up to fully be open and receive the benefits of the practice.  It will also be sprinkled with some yoga philosophy, quotes, music and playfulness and end in a short meditation. Everyone welcome.

Functional Flow w Lena Watt

This class combines a mixture of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga with strengthening and functional movement patterns.  It allows space to explore the body in different postures and sequences to develop a deeper proprioceptive and interoceptive awareness of the body.  This class brings together breath and movement while calling students to investigate the integrity and alignment of their yoga postures and the transitions between each movement.  Take the time to invite a little more curiosity, play and challenge into your yoga practice.

Yin Fusion w Lena Watt

This class is a harmonious blend of doweling, taping, rolling, slow movements and longer yin holds. Connecting deeply to your breath with each movement to bring about deeper interoceptive awareness.   Yin allows us to tap into the connective tissues and fascial system of the body to help unravel tension and stress in the body and mind.  A beautiful practice to fully accept yourself as you are and allow yourself to slow down and let go of the day as you unfold into the different layers of the body and mind and find more balance and ease. Everyone welcome.

Thursday

Therapeutic Yoga for Persistent and Chronic Pain w Lena Watt

This is a therapeutic yoga class for people who have been injured or suffer from chronic or persistent pain.  We will work together to tap into our parasympathetic nervous system and develop a deeper understanding of pain and sensation in the body through different interoceptive, breathing and movement practices.  This class moves through a variety of different asana postures to help improve range of motion, flexibility, balance, strength and functional movement. It is combined with gentle ball rolling and doweling to tap into our fascial system and learn different tools to help create more space and ease in the body and mind.

Community Dharma and Meditation Circle w rotating teachers

This is a community-centered class where we can all connect together, share our individual passions and wisdom and hold space for each other.  Each week there will be a new topic and focus, followed by journaling prompts and a group discussion.  This class will provide a safe space to explore our hearts and the 8 limbs of yoga and dive deeper into the philosophy and ancient teachings of yoga and life. Each class will end with a group meditation connected to the topic discussed and a closing circle.  Everyone welcome.

Saturday

Yin Thai w Nicole Berns

This style of yoga blends the two practices of Yin Yoga and Thai Massage. The postures are held somewhere between 3-5 minutes in order to target the connective tissue. Massage techniques include palming, thumbing and rocking while the posture is held. This class offers hands on  adjustments and assistance. Suitable for all levels and abilities.

Sunday

Roll and Release Yoga w Lena

A slow and interoceptive yoga practice that focuses on breathing techniques to create space and fluidity in the body.  This practice incorporates different balls and dowels to help lubricate the joints, rehydrate the fascial system and all the cells in the body to release stress and tension while improving range of motion and flexibility. Great for all levels.
